[It's perhaps a little passe to mention that losing a weekend is distressing. Particularly since this is the third lost weekend Hisoka's had at Luceti, and it's starting to be a bit of a routine. What's not routine is how quickly the population of House 49 has exploded with rambunctiousness. It seems like there's someone bustling around in some nook or some other cranny at all times of day. Where some might find joy in the life and virility of a big family, Hisoka primarily found headaches. Normally, he'd take times like these to seek solace in the library, but since the missing weekend, even that's been entirely too full of bibliophiles for his sensibilities. There's a lingering feeling of "too many people everywhere" that he just can't shake.

And thus, there is the journal. Hisoka settles on the edge of his bed, occasionally glancing out of his window as he flips through the journal for anything of interest.]

This damn village gets smaller every day. Isn't there anyplace left for a person to be alone? Indoors, I mean. None of that forest stuff.

[Good. That gives Hisoka the opportunity to bury his face back into the closest cushion.]

[ Then in a few minutes, Joshua will walk over with two cups on a tray. ]

Tea's done.

[He groans, and forces himself to sit back up.]

[ He sets the tray on the table by the couch and takes a cup for himself. ]

Since when do you care about hospitality?

[He helps himself to the second cup.]

Since I also wanted tea, of course. Hee hee.

Upstairs. I'm not exactly opening myself to all influences, and I can't remember the weekend myself, either.

Okay. [He stands, already forgetting his barely-touched teacup. Sleep is a much more attractive option anyway.]

[ SIGH hosting is such a thankless task. Joshua starts to clean up after the two of them, making sure to wash the cups and kettle while Hisoka is free to make his way upstairs and pick out his choice of the two beds.

There's the one in the room covered in canvases probably smelling faintly of paint, or the one in the room that looks like it hasn't been disturbed for months and is probably a wee bit dusty. ]

[The dusty bed wins, by merit of not reeking of things that would aggravate his headache. Hisoka drops facedown into it without regard for the obvious unuse, letting his wings uncurl and drape along his shoulders in some ineffective approximation of a blanket. It covers about as much space as a handkercheif might, but it's better than nothing.]
